Description

Designed in the late 1950s by local modernist architects Duncan, Stephen & Mercer, the mid-century home in the suburb of City Beach was in need of love and restoration.

Respectfully honouring the era’s historic charm and character, we reworked the home’s layout and liveability into an open-plan three-bedroom, two-bathroom configuration, creating a thoughtful sanctuary that was also ripe for entertaining friends and family.

Our involvement encompassed architecture, interior design and furniture procurement, with original features and details such as door knockers, timber ceilings and pendant lights carefully refurbished and reinstated. Blackbutt joinery and mosaics were introduced, with warm, natural tones and texture throughout inspired by the raw beauty of our West Australian landscape.
