Located next to Boston Brewery in Victoria Park, Miller Street is the headquarters of Fowler Group, a diversified West Australian company managing over 200 employees across sectors including property, development and hospitality. Design Theory utilised spatial planning, materiality, furniture and lighting to create a warm and welcoming space that balances personality with functionality for the Group’s executive team.

We maximised a small footprint through creating adaptable meeting spaces that can be opened or closed while retaining visibility. Warm brick is used for select flooring and walls, including a curved hit-and-miss brick wall with integrated glazing that provides natural light while maintaining acoustic separation. The furniture selections prioritised quality, durability and visual impact, featuring Kasmir chairs and Underline desks by Simon James and Aim pendant lights by the Bouroullec brothers for Flos. The high ceilings were retained by resolving exposed services, maintaining a sense of openness throughout the space.
